|Ways to Support Edheads|
Are you passionate about STEM Education? Do you want to help students achieve their dreams? Do you envision a future with a knowledgeable STEM workforce? If you answered yes, then getting involved with Edheads is for YOU!
Edheads relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations to create the activities you see on this site and to help us achieve our mission. There are many ways to support Edheads. We are always looking for passionate energetic people to serve in a variety of volunteer positions, including help with fundraising and friend-raising, lending expertise on STEM topics and more. Keep reading to learn more.
Over 1.3 million individuals visit Edheads each month, spending an average of 9 minutes exploring our sponsored activities. Edheads will gladly talk with you about your goals and the ways in which we recognize our sponsors. To become an Edheads sponsor or for more information about sponsorship, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-614-535-8126.

Board and Board Committees
Edheads has a board of directors who help our organization remain a leader in educational software development. If you would be interested in joining our board or serving on a board committee, please send a message to email@example.com to express your interest and share your background.
Advisors and Content Experts
This opportunity is for adults aged 24 and up who are employed or retired and are interested in supporting science education for K-12 students. If you would like to join Edheads’ list of corporate or scientific advisors, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Advisors will be sent periodic emails regarding the expertise, funding, and information we currently need. We request that advisors reply in 3-5 business days to let us know if they or someone they know has content knowledge we are looking for or is aware of funding that might serve to support new game development. Sometimes we just need someone in a particular field to share some vocabulary with us and point us in the right direction (we only get so far calling stuff ‘a thingie!’). We would also be interested in hearing thoughts on new game topics and/or content.
This is a volunteer position that would require less than one hour a month of your time unless you decide to become more involved as a content expert in a game we are developing or support us in some other mutually agreed upon way.
Email us at email@example.com with your name, current or most recent job title, a short summary of your responsibilities, and any pertinent background you think we should have. We’ll add your name to the list! Feel free to share short paragraphs of your ideas and/or how you see yourself assisting Edheads. And we thank you for your support of K-12 science education!
Group Fundraising for Edheads
Your company, group, or school can support Edheads by hosting fun and interesting fundraising events.
Some ideas to try:
Check out the creative idea from students at Hilliard Davidson High School below. You can submit your own successful ideas and photos and we'll share them and on social media (with your permission). Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to share your experiences.
Hot Chocolate Fridays
Jill Perkey and her Hilliard Davidson High School Anatomy students are supporting Edheads in a big way! Mrs. Perkey brings envelopes of hot chocolate and hot water to class every Friday and the students bring their mugs and 50 cents. The students get to enjoy a hot beverage and Edheads gets the proceeds. This fundraiser has been a huge success, raising more than $400 in the last three years. We think that deserves a round of applause - and more chocolate!
